Branch History

The South Morrison Library opened in 2012 as part of the South Morrison Family Education Center. Originally filling just two classrooms, it was expanded in 2015 to its current 6000 square foot space.

This new library space holds a computer lab, a technology classroom for training, a teen room, a makerspace, and the Imagination Station--a special early-literacy room for children under five years of age and their parents. The library works in partnership with other agencies at the Family Education Center to provide community outreach and educational events.
